A Mother’s Boutique, Successful Online Retailer, Celebrates Showroom Grand Opening
PITTSBURGH – A Mother’s Boutique, which sells stylish clothing and accessories for breastfeeding and expectant mothers, has two significant events happening on one day—an anniversary and a grand opening.
A Mother’s Boutique has been operating its successful online store for three years. Now, with the opening of a showroom in Wexford, Pa., north of Pittsburgh, local moms get the best of both worlds: the inventory and selection of a online retailer plus the personal service of a neighborhood shop.
“Great customer service is our number one goal at A Mother’s Boutique,” notes owner Judy Masucci. “We’ve been doing that online for the past three years. Now by opening a showroom near Pittsburgh, we are able to help our customers in person too.”
To thank these customers, and to mark the boutique’s continued success, Masucci is throwing a double party that celebrates both the grand opening and the third anniversary of her business. The party takes place on April 17 from 10 am to 3 pm in the new store located at 145 Lake Drive, Suite 102R, Wexford, Pa. Anyone who stops by the store during the event is eligible to win some great prizes, including nursing bras and shawls, pumping accessories, baby blankets, baby bags, and more.
Several special organizations will also be a part of the grand opening event. The Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh will have a lactation consultant in attendance. A doula from Blessed Arrivals Birth Doulas will be there to talk with new moms and moms to be. Buzzy Photography will be offering mother and baby portraits on site and Happy Baby Company will hold several cloth diapering demonstrations. La Leche League of Cranberry Township will also provide information and support. And to top it all off, Mingle Media TV Network will be live streaming the celebration on “Get Living TV” hosted by natural parenting advocate Alaina Frederick.
“I’m very delighted that all these groups are coming together for our grand opening event,” says Masucci. “It’s really about moms helping other moms,” she adds. “A Mother’s Boutique got started this same way. I was a mom who decided to specialize in breastfeeding clothing and accessories because I saw a need for it. So far, the store has been successful online, and I’m excited to continue the momentum with our new storefront in Pittsburgh.”
