Scenario: my 5-year old son is sitting at the table eating, without a shirt on. He looks down at his chest, laughs and says “Look at my nipple, hahhaha. Why do boys have them?”
So I said “Why do girls have them?”
And he replied “So they can make a baby.”
“But they don’t make a baby with their nipple do they?”
“No – so they can keep their baby alive”
“Does the nipple have magical powers – that is able to keep the baby alive?”
“No, the baby and eats and drinks from it – that is it’s power! The baby eats and drinks at the same time!”
This is beautiful!
That is so cute!!
I love listening to my 5 year old daughter and (still nursing) 3 year old son talk about comparative anatomy and baby stuff!
